The TN visa is a classification of migration of non-immigrant designed for citizens of Mexico and Canada who receive an offer of employment in the U.S. for certain professions licensed by the treaty T-MEC. Under this visa you can enter the U.S., legally work for the employer who hires you and have the possibility of renewal while maintaining the requirements.
Who can qualify?
- Be a citizen of mexico or canada.
- Have an offer of formal employment in the U.S. that qualify under the TN category.
- To prove that his profession is included in the list of occupations authorized of the treaty T-MEC (or your post qualifies as a technical certificate in aviation).
- Possessing the required credentials: bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certification recognized in aviation; may require evaluation of credentials if the title is foreign.
- To have a letter from the U.S. employer that detail the position, functions, duration of the employment, supervision and compensation.
- Intended that your stay is temporary (nonimmigrant visa) and comply with the process of entry into the country according to the method applicable consulate or port of entry).
